What can you Expect?
Please join us for our Sabbath services! We meet together to
be with one another and to praise the Lord. We conduct a service that
starts with Praise and Worship music from our song book. The songs are
picked by the people present either before or during worship.
Immediately after the worship, we have prayer. Anyone who desires to
pray is given the opportunity during
this part of the service. Once the prayers are finished,
there is either a sermon or a Bible study; these are alternated every
week. Currently
the main speaker during sermon weeks is Herb Solinsky. The
men in
our congregation take turns leading the Bible studies, which occur
every other week. During the Bible study the leader
of the Bible study is the moderator, and he prepares a selection of
passages from the Bible on the topic, which is made available before
the service. Everyone has a chance to comment or bring up
other scriptures to add to the study. After the sermon or
Bible study, there is a time of fellowship while food is prepared.
Following our service is a
delicious and lively potluck with plenty of food and fellowship. So if
you'd like to visit, come on down!
We
are currently looking for a new location, as the church from which
we were renting has moved. We are meeting in
various places during this transition; please contact us to determine
